The Ride of the Rohirrim may actually be the greatest scene that ever has and ever will be filmed, imo. It’s gorgeous and emotional and just thinking about it brings me to tears.

There are times when I wonder if I’m too emotionally invested in the Eorlingas.

And then I remember, no, they’re fucking awesome, it’s all totally justified. ;)

I ask myself this question constantly.

Right? There has got to be a way to turn that into a self-sustaining economy somehow. We can all just pay each other to write fanfic and draw pictures and knit scarves and stuff.
