My bookshelves. They show who I am. They are many and well-stocked — and well-organised, which pleases so many of my aesthetic sensibilities.
The rest of my home is, at present, not much to be proud of. I still live like a fucking grad student. My furniture is all either hand-me-down or from Ikea, I have no bed but sleep on mattresses flat on the floor, my walls are nearly bare because while I have things to hang, I have no frames for them, and my floors are bare and scuffed because I can’t afford rugs.William Blake: Are you religious?
