My Actual Sign: Leo. Which I’ve known for years. And it’s only 9/10 because of the way the one is phrased — I don’t like being petty, I wish I wasn’t, but I know I can be sometimes.

I’m actually surprised I scored as high as I did in Pisces and Cancer. The high Aries score is no surprise at all; Arieans and Leos have a lot in common. And the fact that I only scored 4/10 in my natural birth sign is about what I expected.

Not that you aren’t an old hat at dealing with those moody, stubborn but all-so-lovable Cancerian menfolk :-P

A) Yeah, but you’re part-Capricorn which just adds a whole new level of difficulty. And he’s part… something else, I dunno, but there is something besides Crab in him. He lacks the defensive sensitivity and has a bit too much almost reflexive gregariousness. (Hi, honey). (I always feel weird discussing him on my Tumblr since, y’know, he follows it). Anyway point being it’s not a one-to-one equivalence.

B) My gay husband and my sexual partner share a sign and treat me in a lot of the same ways. I don’t know if I should be concerned or if this just says a lot about how I best like to receive attention. ;)

C) Precisely as the Goodman quote indicates, you Cancer menfolk always give me the feeling I’ve been more dealt with than dealing. Not necessarily in a bad way. ;)

On Leo and Cancer…

The Lioness muses.  This Cancerian male is… strange.  He’s… a sensitive man, more considerate of her as a woman than anyone else she’s known.  He’s not domineering, he lets her have his own way most every time they disagree. Of course, there are his moods, but… he worries about her, and he really-truly cares about her feelings. He protects her lovingly and affectionately from the insensitive, rude, crude, and vulgar people who offend her.  Truthfully, she’s never felt so securely cherished by anyone in her whole life.  At last she’s found a man who sincerely appreciates her. Yet there’s something she senses in their relationship that troubles her. It causes her to feel a little uneasy somehow, like a whispered warning. But a warning of what?

Random thought:

Twilight Sparkle is clearly a Virgo. Bookish, perfectionist, eminently competent and well-grounded, occasionally needs help remembering to leave the ivory tower and join the real world.

Rarity is clearly a Leo. Dramatic, charming, prone to fits of vanity and self-importance, but truly generous-spirited and warm at heart.

Rainbow Dash is clearly an Aries. Obsessed with being the first, the best, the coolest, fearless and loyal, quick to action but slow to admit mistakes.

Pinkie Pie is clearly a Gemini. Social, gregarious, capable of talking non-stop, sometimes a little flighty but always ready with (and for) a laugh, the life of any party.

Applejack and Fluttershy I had more trouble with. Applejack is probably closest to a Taurus — homebodied, steady-natured, utterly reliable but set in her own ways — but there’s something more energetic about her than I typically think of for the Bulls. There’s some Fire in there somewhere, but I can’t work out which. And Fluttershy is, I think, somewhere between a Pisces and a Cancer — sweet, sensitive, easily alarmed, but possessing expansive intuition.
